Vaiko urges UN intervention to end Sri Lankan crisis

Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) founder V. Gopalswamy on Sunday sought the United Nations’ intervention to solve the Sri Lankan crisis. He said that the ban on the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) in India should be lifted and the UN should send soldiers to Sri Lanka to stop the war. “When the world is ready to pressurise Sri Lanka to stop war, even then the Indian government is not willing to create pressure on the Colombo government.
Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapakse is doing everything according to his will. At this juncture, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) should send its troops to stop war in Sri Lanka, just the way it intervened in Kosovo,” Vaiko said while releasing his party’s manifesto.
Is this man mad? Sri Lanka is not his back yard to do whatever he thinks. We will defeate the LTTE. We will drag VP alone with Pottu. Vaiko you can mind your own work.

What I believe is that Vaiko is not a mad person. He is a devastating old fox. He is a real threat not only to Sri Lanka but to India too. His intension might be first Eelam in Sri Lanka then Tamil Nadu in India.
And he is afraid of the defeat of LTTE barbarians, because then his double faced games are revealed.
He should demand his dear friend Prabhakaran to release innocent Tamil civilians from his grip rather than asking United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to send its troops to stop war in Sri Lanka. As well as Prabhakaran, this poor old man is not old enough to understand that no war can be won by killing their own unarmed innocent people and use them as human shields. One day they all will be destroyed by their own people and no external force is required to annihilate these extremists from the earth forever.
