You are dead wrong about your assesment.With your name you certainly cannot be a singhalese.!!!Further,some people write under a ‘pen name’.So you still could be a singhalese.you can be any other than a singhalese support the sri Lankan government,be against the LTTE and ofcourse be entitled to your own opinion.

My fairy tale world trusting the sri Lanka governments was shattered a few times when Tamils ran for their life and ended up in refugee camps returning to burnt out shells of their homes -before the LTTE was born.The attacks ochestrated by succesive governments backed by budhist priests.

Sri Lanka has different ethnic groups.
A good democratic government has to abide by the rule of law.a democratic system is when all ethnic groups within the frame work of democracy live as equal ctizens.If rules are created to undermine or differentiate the majority from other minorities in that country then the rule of law has been violated and the country has become a failed state.

You can now see why this beautifull country continually has had problems even with its own people.
