I am originally from Andra Pradesh (my grand parents came to Mauritius in the 1930s)
I happen to be of jewish descent (probably from the first deportation back in 550BC)
We have lost most of our heritage through partial assimilation.
I understand and sympathise with your feelings about your heritage both geographical and spiritual.
The similarities between the Jewish and Tamil languages do provide food for thought.
The jews have been scattered and did also flee from persecution to save themselves. They have been to the farthest corners of the world to survive. During the second world war, two vessels came to Port Louis (Mauritius) carrying hundreds of refugees who succeeded in escaping the holocaust. But Winston Churchill did not see it with kind eyes. He ordered the Royal Navy to take the ships back to their port of origin. The refugees who had started settling in Mauritius were horrified at the news. Special appeal from the constituant assembly then forced the British Admiralty to part with only one ship. Alas! All passengers on board that ship were sent direct to the gas chambers back in Auswitch!
All those who were left on the island lived a normal life for some 5 years and a few even married local people and children were born from these unions. Some died and a special cemetery was allocated to them. The bulk of them finaly made it to Israel, which unto this day is wrongly and sinfully called Palestine.
Then we understand the sin of uprooting people from their homeland and revisiting, revising history to distort facts and bring lies. The Arab/Muslim invasion of Persia, Irak, India, Africa and part of the Balkans are clear examples of dispossession and revisionism. Invaders always resort to destroy artefacts and fossil evidence. Pakistan, Afghanistan, Kashmir and so many other places of the world are so vivid and horrifying examples of evil design and gloom. No one with humanity and sound mind would agree to such carnage.
Therefore, we the Jewish offsprings do have a sense of burden and sympathy for victims of genocide and injustice.
I would conclude though, with a word of caution. Terrorism is not the answer. By taking innocent lives through devastating actions, anyone who vindicates genocide and submission under the sword of tyrants annuls, and makes his cause totally void and falls into disrespect. Tamils should stop terrorism. They should never have started it in the first place. Tamils should have raised and risen in dignity. This is the only drawback of the Tamil people. They have invented suicide bombing which was taken up by the Sikh and then exported to Ireland before being copied by the Islamists and Arabs.
I hope and pray that the Tamil people will cure its wounds and seal their scars. The future will tell us how much dignified and worthy they will prove themselves. There are other means of pitching a Flag and uphold the Pen of righteousness instead of a blood shedding sword. Be wise, loving and shed peace. Life will be rewarding to you all. Violence reaps violence. War was not necessary. We hope together with you. Shalom!

Yes! Tamils are Jews. I am doing a lot of research on this. Ok now the common thing as follows:
Star of David – Symbol of Jews and Tamils Murugan too. 6 corners represented in Star of David represented by Murugan 6 Ligts – Arumugam.
Yazhpanam – Mean harp players place – David’s instrument harp is yazh in Tamil.
Salem: in Tamil Nadu mean Shalom/jerusalem mean place between hills in both Hebrew and Tamil.
The month Tammuz is similar to Adi in Tamil – No auspicious things done this month. Jews mourn too this month for the destruction of the Temple.
Temple building: Tamils build temple wherever they go but name it as only kovil mean king’s home. Same with Jews they build only synagogue. Temple they refer only to Jerusalem Temple.
Aramaic and Tamil: 18×12: 216 alphabets. God’s name in 72 in aramaic 72×3=216 represented by their alphabets.
Mohenjadaro and harappa – so much similar to Israel building
Shofar, Sangu: Both blows it to begin war/procession or any new beginning.
Women honor: Dishonoring women is far worse than murdering in both.
625 commandments ; reflects everything said in Thirukural.
Both are highly rationalizing people. God mean Kadavul in Tamil mean “knowing within”
Both like humor amidst despair.
We are not dravidians as aryans say. We are Davidians.
The list goes on… I get along so well with Jews. Thats the proof unto itself.
