We are not responsible for the critical situation faced by the displaced people – Government
It is pointed out that government is stating that it is not responsible for the critical situations faced by the displaced people and trying to escape from the accusations.
In regard to the continuous heavy rains in the past days, the areas are flooded tremendously, and United Nation Agent Companies are responsible to this situation was stated by the government.
Government alleged that the United Nations Agent Companies assured that they would attend to the drainage system and protective flood activities to the camps, but it was not done. Disaster Management and Rehabilitation Minister Richard Badihudeen stated, government is not accountable for the present floods at the refugee camps due to the rains. He pointed out about 400 refugees are only affected due to floods at the Menik Farm zone four refugee camp.
According to the guidance from President Mahinda Rajapakse and Parliament Member Basil Rajapakse, immediate action had been taken was mentioned by Disaster Management Minister. Effected people are provided with all basic facilities was further informed by the Minister.

You beg for money to take care of the IDP’s,get it and then still continue to say that the government is not responsible for the excreta flooded out IDP camps but the ‘UN agent companies’ are responsible for the
SH-T activities of the IDP.!!!!

Why don’ you all rush to the Asgiriya Temple and pray hard -
‘When the monsoon rains come,close all SH-T hole Activities of the IDP’s.
This way you will be helped to pocket the monies you have recieved from the western world and ofcourse
from the newly found friends.
