(AP) A nationwide manhunt for an accused rapist of a three-year-old girl has ended at a traffic stop in Henderson, Nevada.
Police say Chester "Chet" Arthur Stiles, who is accused of videotaping himself during the alleged rape in 2003, was arrested Monday driving a white car with no license plates.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is in Iran for a historic visit, the first visit by a Kremlin leader since Stalin joined a summit there in World War II.
As well as meeting Iran's leaders Mr Putin is attending a summit of heads of countries in the Caspian Sea area.

The United State alone cannot force Iran to give up its nuclear ambitions, Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Monday. Gates called Iran as "an ambitious and fanatical theocracy," and said he has yet to find "the elusive Iranian moderate," according to remarks prepared for delivery at the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs.

LAS VEGAS - A fugitive accused of raping a 3-year-old girl on videotape was arrested quietly during a traffic stop, telling the officer, "I'm tired of running," police said.
Chester "Chet" Arthur Stiles, 37, was pulled over late Monday in Henderson for not having a license plate. He admitted his identity after police said his license looked suspicious.

The so-called dum-dum bullets, used by US air marshals to stop terrorists on planes, were issued following the failed attempts to bomb the London underground on July 21, 2005.

Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, has confirmed that he will carry out a planned visit to Teheran, despite reports about a possible assassination attempt. "Of course I am going to Iran," Mr Putin said. "If I always listened to all the various threats and the recommendations of the special services I would never leave home."

(AP) President Vladimir Putin insisted Monday that "of course" he would travel to Tehran for key visit by the Russian leader, despite reports about a possible assassination attempt. Putin told reporters in Germany during a news conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel that his trip - the first by a Russian president to Iran - would go ahead as scheduled.
