"Only through the cessation of violence, a renewed commitment to peace talks, and constructive engagement by both sides can a political solution to this conflict be achieved."

Statement by Sean McCormack, Spokesman United States condemns suicide bombing in Sri Lanka.

The United States condemns yesterday's suicide attack near Habarana, Sri Lanka that killed more than 90 civilians and members of the Sri Lankan Navy. We extend our deepest sympathies to the families of the victims.
Though there have been no claims of responsibility, this attack is in keeping with the tactics of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, a group long designated as Foreign Terrorist Organization by the Department of State. As we and others in the international community have made clear, the LTTE must renounce the use of terror. Only through the cessation of violence, a renewed commitment to peace talks, and constructive engagement by both sides can a political solution to this conflict be achieved.

Mr. Sean McCormack with reference to above news from Tamil net I have few questions.

“Mr. Sean McCormack, where were you when GOSL forces violating the human rights? As we and others in the international Tamil communities have made very clear, the GOSL violating the human rights in the North and East of Sri Lanka since Mr. Mhinda Rajapaksha took over the power as President of Sri Lanka. But you and your government act like def and blind and didn’t condemns the GOSL. Still GOSL violating the human rights. “Is Sri Lankan Sinhala Security Forces are Humans, and the innocent Tamils are animals? Why you, EU and the Co-chairs keep silent when the GOSL killing the innocent Tamil civilians in the North and East of SL? You all didn’t consider they are humans? Only the government forces are the humans and the minority Tamils are animals?”

Every time when the LTTE attack the government forces your government calls it “Terrorism” but when ever the GOSL attack the civilian target and entering to the LTTE control area what you call in your book? Its not violation? Then why you people are calling both parties and forcing them to come for peace agreement? Several times the LTTE made complaint released statement about the GOSL violating the CFA. What kind of action you and your co-chairs taken against to GOSL until now? Anyway please read the below article, thanks god nothing happen to the Tamil Orphanage children in case if the killed by the air strike the GOSL will release a statement saying “We hit the LTTE child soldiers camp and US government will release the same statement as usual. Any how please read the below latest news and point your finger against to GOSL instead of pointing your finger against to LTTE always.

Orphanage children escape Sri Lankan air strike, one wounded

Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission (SLMM) officials Tuesday afternoon visited Arivucholai, the brother orphanage of Chencholai, in Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) controlled Puthukudiyiruppu in Mullaithivu district. The orphanage, housing 216 children, narrowly escaped from a catastrophic air strike Monday evening, according to S. Kalaivannan, an administrative official at the orphanage. The administration has sought security assurances through the SLMM in Kilinochchi.

Sri Lankan Kfir bombers dropped two bombs on the playground and the bathing facility of the orphanage Monday evening at 5:45. One boy was wounded.
"A state of shock prevails among the children at the orphanage," Mr. Kalaivannan said.
The Kantharoopan Arivucholai housing orphaned boys, from 8 months to 18-year-olds, is located near Kaiveli village in Puthukudiyiruppu where a civilian settlement was bombed by the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Monday evening.
A one-year-old baby girl and a 12-year-old girl were killed and 15 civilians, most of them women, wounded in the air strike, carried out by the SLAF on the civilian settlement, in revenge for the attack on Sri Lanka Navy in Habarana.
