Commentary: Safety of Tamils - Who is responsible??

The government of Sri Lanka has been saying, Srilankan forces are in the North & East to save Tamils from the LTTE.

Following News item not only demonstrate that the Srilanka forces are not caring for the safety of the Tamil public, but they are detrimental to the safety to Tamil Well being.

Jaffna district Sri Lanka Army (SLA) Commander Maj. Gen. Chandrasiri informed that due to lack of security arrangements, the Rehabilitation Centre at Tellipalai cannot be reopened to accommodate the 40 youths placed under the protective custody in the Jaffna prison, legal sources in Jaffna said. The SLA commander was responding to the application filed by Jaffna police Thursday in the Jaffna District Court before Jaffna District Magistrate R. T. Vignarajah, legal society sources in Jaffna said.

Ordinary Tamils have lost their patience that the CFA wolud bring anything home.
International Community is not going to come out of its illusion over soverignity of the people and soveriginty off a government!
It is imperative that the LTTE take over the north and east without any further delay to relieve the Tamil civiallians from their ongoing sufferrings!!
