I am certain Tamils would unite to fight the injustice and travesty of justice perpetrated on the Tamils by GOSL and the IC. Will this solve the ethnic and racial problem in Sri Lanka, provide safety to the Tamils in Colombo against July 1983 type riots, and bring peace to Sri Lanka? Hell no. Tamils can never be threatened, Intimidated, Harassed, Blackmailed, so that they would compromise on the rightful liberation struggle. The sooner the IC and GOSL realize that there would be a better chance for peace in Sri Lanka. In 2002 via the CFA the UNP and more than one half of the Singhalese realized that. In the presidential elections of 2005, 90% of the Tamils were well aware of it. However some were prevented to exercise their will, and now the Tamils in Sri Lanka as well as in the diasporas face the “Music”, with many of the activist in jail, spending millions of dollars in legal fees, in the USA, CANADA, UK, FRANCE and AUSTRALIA. Nevertheless, Tamils in jail need to be supported by the diasporas, and the presumption of innocence should be maintained and assumed not only by the Tamils but by the authorities. Sometimes laws do not prevent so called crimes, but affects the innocent civilians to suffer. Set as favorite Bookmark Comments (3)

Failure of the British state is clearly evident in their eagerness to arrest political prisoners in blatantly hypocritical contradiction of centuries old Westminster parliamentary traditions upholding freedom of speech and freedom of association.
Golda Meir, Begin, Mahatma Gandhi; all were branded terrorists by the then British Government! No need to expect any exceptions for Tamils. British Government is creating Heroes! Who is fooling whom? Come on, British Police, wake up! Go and catch the real terrorists who are terrorising in Colombo, claiming to be democratic government!
The British Government must arrest all the ltte supoters before the meake more problem to the england.
