America has committed aggression in Iraq and destroyed it because Iraq has oil resources and the leadership of Iraq refused to submit to American exploitation.

Today, on an average, at least 20 to 30 lives are lost every day in Iraq due to suicide bombings. Most victims are innocent civilians or those who were there to eke out a living.

Having created the sorry situation for the sons of the soil of Iraq, a rich country with oil resources, to starve, America now boasts it has liberated the people and brought democracy and liberty to Iraq.

America stepped onto the soil of Iraq as an aggressor despite the opposition from the UN and many countries and. It did not even seek a UN resolution endorsing its actions against Iraq.

Today, America is faced with the predicament of being unable to move out and at the same time unable to contain the opposition of the Iraqi nationals.

America and its allies put forward two reasons for their action in Iraq. One was that Iraq was in possession of destructive chemical weapons and that therefore it was necessary to nip it in the bud to save humanity.

Another reason given by America was that Saddam administration had close ties with Islamic fundamentalist groups such as Al-Qaeda and that the war against Iraq was part of America’s strategy to fight international terrorism.

It was on the basis of these charges that America invaded Iraq but now with the passage of time, it has become clear that America cannot justify its action on both counts. American accusations against Iraq have been proved baseless lies.

Although the American forces and the forces of its allies conducted extensive searches, they couldn’t find any clues either regarding possession or manufacturing of Chemical weapons by the Saddam administration. Similarly it has also been proved that the Saddam administration did not have any links with Al-Qaeda. In fact, it’s the aggression committed by America on Iraq that has paved the way for the Al Qaeda to gain access and support in that soil and direct onslaughts on the forces of America and its allies.

America and its allies should be condemned for the naked aggression committed on Iraq, by plunging the country into an internal war and for being responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent civilians.
