It has to be borne in mind that, Singhalese should love their Tamil neighbours as themselves, as preached by Jesus Christ. Besides me, even the hawkish Buddhist Singhalese also are not aware of what Lord Buddha had preached about peace and harmony.

How it would be looked at, if camps are erected by the Tamil tigers in the Singhalese territories, as erected by the Singhalese armed forces
in the Tamil territories?

How it would be looked at, if the Tamil tigers unleash attacks in the Singhalese territories in reprisal for the three –prong combined attacks by the Singhalese army, navy and air force over the unarmed Tamil civilians in the Tamil territories where they lived in peace and harmony?

While Singhalese armed forces are there to unleash atrocities in the Tamil areas aggressively to impose the will of the Singhalese over the Tamils. Singhalese Police personnel are there to enforce the law enacted by the Singhalese legislators, and Singhalese judicial system is there to act in accordance with the whims and fancies of the Hawkish policies of the Singhalese regime with regard to the matters pertaining to the administration of the Tamil territories.

Armed forces with their devotion and dedication to Singhalese language, Buddhist religion, Singhalese culture and their hawkish policies, like wolves among the sheep, have crept into the Tamil territories displacing the Tamils both young and old in tens and thousands from their legally owned properties, by force. Further, to safeguard their existence therein with security, armed forces have endeavoured to close the highways leading to the Tamil territories to sabotage the smooth functioning of the Tamils in their day to day life.

If the international communities were smart enough, cultivation and fishing in the Tamil territories in general and the LTTE controlled areas in particular would not have had been affected irreparably causing untold hardship to those who lived on them.

Crops and plants got perished or withered away without being irrigated properly because of the sanctions and restrictions imposed on the movement of goods, inclusive of water pumps, fuel and fertilizer by the Singhalese government purposely to starve the Tamils of their food and betterment with a view to subduing them.

Why the Singhalese are so devilish to subdue the Tamils depriving them of their basic and fundamental rights in gross violation of the human rights principles? What is the moral behind the ambition and fanaticism of the Singhalese to rule the Tamils and to see that the Tamils are ruled by the Singhalese?

Why should the Singhalese armed forces permeate within the Tamil territories and terrorize the Tamils to be in a terrifying nightmare, without peace of mind?

I am afraid humanitarianism has completely withered away in this world, due to the barbaric mentality of the war mongers controlling the world administration.

Sinhala people have divisions among them, but when it comes to the question of oppressing the Tamils, they unite. None of the Singhalese come to the camp of the Tamils to defend the Tamils or to fight for them. But there are Tamils in the form of renegades, stooges and quislings who bask in corpulent remunerations and perquisites of the State, to join hands with the Chauvinistic Singhalese and to crush the Tamils and their aspirations, similar to the wooden handle of an axe that is detrimental to the growth of trees.

None of the International communities have ever provided, the Tamil militant group fighting for a noble cause of liberating the Tamils from the tyranny of the hegemonic Singhalese regime, with any assistance militarily or financially.

Singhalese strategy is to sign a pact, then to abort it, kill the Tamils and start to negotiate for another pact afresh. The purpose of any agreement being framed, parties involved signing, international communities witnessing, subscribing, attesting and certifying with the coverage of the mass media are all lost, if it is not adhered to the very letter.

When the Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the ruling SLFP and the major opposition UNP, it has to be borne in mind that the Cease-fire Agreement signed on 22/02/2002 had completely been ignored and jettisoned even by UNP though it was a party to it, in blatant violation of the accepted norms and principles to set a dangerous precedent in time to come.

Earlier, the Cease-fire-agreement was between the militants representing the oppressed Tamils and the UNP representing both the Government and the Singhalese. Now the Memorandum of Understanding of 23/10/2006 between SLFP and UNP both representing only the Singhalese, is only to look after the interests of the Singhalese and to crush the Tamils jointly without any opposition from among the Singhalese.

International Communities categorically emphasize that the Government of Sri Lanka should grant a level of autonomy to the Tamils, contending that very similar successful situations had been seen throughout the world and quoting places like Quebec in Canada, Wales and Scotland in Great Britain which are all part of their Federal Nations but have significant autonomy. Further, they maintain that Tamils have a very legitimate desire, as anybody else would, to control their own lives, to rule their own destinies, and to govern themselves in their homeland, in the areas they have traditionally inhabited and to be independent, as they were before the advent of Colonial rulers in the year 1505.

Regional and super powers, unreasonably and unethically taking a partisan stance, both overtly and covertly help the Singhalese government from time to time militarily knowing very well their hawkishness, and provide military training to the Sri Lankan top army brasses, and share military and naval intelligence with the Sri Lankan armed forces.

LTTE merchant ships were sunk in international waters with logistics provided by the Indian navy. Joint naval patrols are being conducted in certain key and vulnerable areas. India had provided military training to the top army brasses of Sri Lanka in Indian defence colleges and shared military and naval intelligence with the Sri Lankan armed forces, especially the Navy. And also it has transpired that India has gifted indigenously made Indra radars.

It is suspected that India with vested interest, wants the freedom struggle of Sri Lankan Tamils to be resolved, under the control of its own stooges renegades and quislings who are supportive of its cause.

In addition to their numerical strength, the Singhalese armed forces brazenly with impunity, in its official capacity amasses sophisticated weaponry and armaments, together with multi-barrel guns, naval ships, Kfir and war planes reserving funds enormously in the budget for war, in addition to other foreign aids from parties with vested interest, to crush only the Tamils in Sri Lanka. Under the patronage of super powers by being a pet in their hands already well equipped, Sri Lankan government roams around freely, and commits worst terrorism in Tamil homeland without being checked, until the Tamil community is exterminated gradually but steadily.

Until a lasting solution is reached, time has come for the Tamils to get involved and raise awareness within them and throughout the world in perpetuity, by discussions, emails, articles or disseminating information gathered from other reliable sources on the fundamental and basic rights of the Tamils denied by the majoritarian Singhalese regime.

" It is high time for the International communities to ensure by peaceful methods , that there are no more conflicts in any country in this world, in this age of globalisation, increasing population and decreasing natural resources. "
