British police stand accused of being 'too busy' to have prevented a car bomb that could have killed hundreds of people had it not been for a vigilant ambulance crew. An ambulance crew spotted a 'smoking' Mercedes car parked outside one of London's top night spots, the Tiger Tiger bar at around 1.30am today.

They informed the police who then defused what was a car bomb just minutes from explosion.

Had it not been for the ambulance crew, the car packed with 60 litres of petrol dozens of gas canisters and thousands of nails could have killed hundreds of party goers and caused absolute carnage in the heart of the capital.

While many people are relived that the tragedy never took place, many are questioning why the police was not able to prevent such a bomb getting so close to its target.

Even more, the Muslim terrorist who had driven the car to the centre of London is still at large.

Many people here are angry to here that while the Islamic terrorists were plotting to cause chaos in London, just last week the British police were exhausting much of their resources on pleasing the government of Sri Lanka.

Over the past seven days, hundreds of police officers, vehicles and even helicopters were being used to arrest Tamils and search their homes on accusations of supporting the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE).

The

LTTE has never and will never be a threat to Britain

LTTE has never and will never be a threat to Britain, its people or its interests. Several ordinary Londoners who this writer spoke to are fuming over the fact the police had allocated most of their resources to arrest alleged supporters of the LTTE instead of preventing terror attacks by Muslim terrorists.

When told that some Muslims such as Sayeed Bazeer of Wimbledon in South London are requesting the police to allocate even more resources to arrest alleged supporters of the LTTE, a city worker reacted irately, claiming 'it's a shame that our police force is falling for these tricks'.

Most Londoners agree local issues should be dealt with but an overwhelming majority say they want actions against Islamic terrorists to be the police's foremost priority.
