Sri Lanka: Attack on LTTE under- aged cadres kept for handing over to SLMM at Amparai

thumb_697ltte20training20320-aug25A group of under-aged cadres kept at Thirukkovil for handing over to the SLMM on Tuesday, were in for a surprise attack around 7.30pm Monday. Pavaiarasan, a senior leader of the LTTE had already submitted a list of names of 14 under-aged cadres to be handed over to the SLMM tomorrow at Amparai. These cadres were all born after 1990. Pavaiarasan said they were being handed over to their parents in the presence of the SLMM, as directed by Velupillai Pirapakaran, the leader of the LTTE.
