They have to spend most of the day time other than fishing, only in the hamlets. These people have been affected psychologically due to the continuous artillery barrages as well as mortar shelling of the SL armed forces.

The education activities of pre school students and other students in Vadamaradchchi east area have been held in temporary class rooms. According to deputy director of educational office ,that the students and the teachers continue their education activities with panic as well psychological impacts.
