According to reports the farmer organizations have requested the Sri Lankan military to relocate their camps to facilitate their farming activities in the area. The Sri Lankan military command, citing security reasons has decline to remove the camps. This move by the Sri Lankan military has affected the lives of 11,000 farmers in the region.
