TNA Parliamentarian P.Ariyanenthiran has requested the government to stop the conduct of a census in the east. He has stated that any census in a context in which the Tamil people are displaced from the east and the displaced people are not fully resettled cannot be reliable and can be detrimental to the Tamils representation in the Parliament. It can be discriminatory.
