Sri Lanka: Chandrika meets SLFP breakaway faction |

Former Sri Lankan President Chandrika Kumaratunga met with Ministers Mangala Samaraweera, Sripathi Sooriyarachchi and former Airport and Aviation Authority Chief Tiran Alles from the SLFP breakaway faction on Friday.
According to political commentators, Chandrika is exploring ways to increase the standing of the breakaway faction which has not been able to dampen the popular Sinhala-Buddhist support the ruling Rajapaksa Brothers are enjoying.
