Sri Lanka: Delegation led by Gotabjaya off to India

A three-member high-powered delegation led by Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa on Sunday left Colombo for New Delhi to discuss the current security situation of Sri Lanka with Indian leaders an d government officials.
Two other members of the delegation are: Presidential advisor Basil Rajapaksa and Presidential Secretary Lalith Weeratunga.
A statement issued by the defence ministry said “the delegation will discuss with their counterparts topics pertaining to current national security, the economy and political situation in Sri Lanka.”
Commissioner Aloka Prasad had already left for India to participate in these talks.
