More than 500 people from Mullikulam in Mannar south have appealed to Bishop of Mannar to rescue them as they have been trapped following the military operations. Following the appeal, Bishop of Mannar and the government officials are in touch with the security forces to bring the displaced to Mannar along Murungan Silavathurai route, if permission is granted.
