Sri Lanka: One hospital worker abducted as another abducted found dead |

while the dead body of an abducted youth in Jaffna recovered with severe cut wounds in Ariyaalai on Monday morning. The youth was earlier abducted by unidentified gun men on Sunday. An employee of the Ninthavoor hospital has been abducted by the Karuna paramilitary group on Saturday evening according to complaint made by his relatives to the Sri Lankan police in Batticaloa.
The amen was abducted as he was going to appear in the Batticaloa curt in a case involving him. The victim was identified as Thilaiampalam Paramalingam age 45, a father of four children from Chiththaanaikuddi Veethi in Kaaraitheevu. Meanwhile, the body of a youth abducted from Ariyaalai in Jaffna on Sunday night has been recovered on Monday morning at the same place. The dead body had severe cut injuries.
