Sri Lanka: Former member of Karuna paramilitary shot dead |

believed to be members of the paramilitary at Koththiyaapulavu in the Vavunatheevu area of Batticaloa district on Sunday night around 7.30. Reports from the East said the unidentified men went to his house and called him out before shooting him dead. Reports further say that the dead person was a former member of the Karuna paramilitary group and had left the group after internal conflictions between the party members.
