Addressing Parliament, he stated that Tamils are kept in prisons in the south, the north east and on the 4th floor on a large scale without being brought to trial. They suffer like this because they are born Tamils. He continued that the Tamils are arrested and detained with impunity under the provisions of the Emergency Regulations. The excess powers given to the police and the security officers under the Emergency Regulations must be withdrawn. He added that Tamil youths who are detained without trial n Booza camp without proper facilities must be released. Set as favorite Bookmark Comments (2)
