 P. Ariyanenthiran, TNA Batticaloa Palriamentarian told the House that All Party Representative Conference is a mockery and a comedy. It is a drama staged to take the international community for a ride.
Addressing the Parliament on the emergency debate, he stated that having captured the east from the LTTE, the government talks about the rise of the east. What we see is the setting of the east.
He added that two traditional areas of the Tamils have been given Singala names. They are paving the way for Sinhala colonization.
He further stated that during the last two months 8 persons have been killed in the east. 10 have disappeared. 4 have been arrested and two have been detained. The government must undertake responsibility for these acts. There is no normalcy in these areas.
