Sri Lanka: International community is taken for a ride by APRC drama: TNA

During the debate on the extending the emergency regulations at the Sri Lankan parliament he further said that said that the APRC was a drama staged by the Sri Lankan government to take the international community for a ride. He stated that after occupying the east the Sri Lankan government is talks about the rise of the east but what we see now is the setting of the east. He charged that Tamil areas are renamed in Sinhala as preliminary steps to colonize the region. The parliamentarian also mentioned the death toll of civilians at the hands of the Sri Lankan military and paramilitary operatives in the occupied east. The Sri Lankan government must undertake responsibility for these acts he added.
