Only 1% of the world are Honest. How do we know the "new Missionaries" are or will be honest and see that Sri Lankan interests are safeguarded ? I am not happy with all this. If all these "Missions" were successful in the past we would have resolved our issues long ago for the money the taxpayers spend in the countries from where they come. I think whosoever agrees that SLIMM monitors arrive should verify their credentials closely, and see if they have experience as I worked in many conflict countries and the monitors there wished that conflict and sis-harmony continue so that they have secure jobs. Eventually the population understood the purpose of the "Monitoring missions" and they started stoning and intimidating them. You see my Sri Lankans, the poor in the south are suffering, the displaced in the north are in camps and displacement, if there are those who "Monitor" and there are no results, I fear for the safety of the monitors, I saw what happens to them in Africa when the population is tired, as the population is hungry while they enjoyed their lives in Luxury. So if there is no peace in Sri Lanka soon, we can expect to have many problems |
