The report said that the ruling party delegation will be led by Mr. Alevi Mawlana the governor of Western province. It is also reported that the SLFP delegation will seek assurances from the former president that she will not release any statements that would damage the party’s image. Chandrika has refused to take part in the SLFP convention last week. She is now having greater links with Mangalasamaraveer’s breakaway group.
