Thai police said on Wednesday

there was no truth to reports triggered by an allegation on a Sri Lankan government Web site

there was no truth to reports triggered by an allegation on a Sri Lankan government Web site that a top Tamil Tiger leader had been arrested in Bangkok. "I've checked with related police bureaux -- the Immigration Police, the Metropolitan Police and the Special Branch. There has been no report of a Tiger rebel arrested in Bangkok," national police spokesman Lieutenant-General Ronnarong Youngyuen said.

"If we'd arrested him, we would have made good publicity out of it," Ronnarong told Reuters.

The Sri Lankan Defence Ministry site at www.defence.lk said "reliable sources from Thailand reveal that LTTE's chief for cross border terrorist activities, Kumaran Padmanadan, alias "KP" has been arrested in Bangkok".

KP was described as finance chief of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) rebels. Ronnarong said Thai police did hand over three Tamil Tigers to Sri Lanka last month after the rebels served jail terms for arms smuggling following their arrest four years ago.

i think otherwise, quoting Hindu and few other main stream Indian news papers have highlited that the Indias CBI and RAW have already placed the ground work for possible extradition of KP. if he is not in custody , then such action will not be launched by the Indians, hence highlites the fact that either KP or someone is indeed in Thai custody.
how come Siber News missed the sinking of 03 LTTE ships off south-east SL?

Don't worry about the missing 3 LTTE ships.

we have heard of more than 100 LTTE swiped out in one mission within thislast 20 yrs.Athulathmudali started the scam.
So when 100 are eliminated at a time from where are these SL Tamil boys and girls emerging.
The LTTE would have been wiped out many years ago.

Lies and more lies dished out by the Government.
More ships are coming.
More Tamil warriors of the Tamils lands are coming.
When the LTTE is unable to be destroyed then the lies emerge.
Stop the lies.NO MORE LIES.
Get to honest work and negotiate PEACE.
