Sri Lanka: Sri Lanka accuses prosperous African nation of arming LTTE

Sri Lankan government Minister Jeyaraj Fernandopulle in a media outburst on Sunday accused the prospering African state of Eritrea of supplying arms and ammunition to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). The fresh accusations come on the back of rumours that the LTTE's chief of arms and ammunitions procurement was arrested in Thailand. Just last week, Sri Lankan Ministers were insisting Thailand and Cambodia are the supply hubs of the LTTE.

However, Jeyaraj Fernandopulle told the media that "it is now believed Norway sends the arms and ammunition to Eritrea for use by the government there but these are in reality loaded in Eritrea into the LTTE ships to be taken to Vanni".

Headline grabbing Minister Fernandopulle first got his spot in the limelight with infamous accusations of terrorism by association levelled against United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Sir John Holmes.

The same Minister had during the past three months accused the United Nations of being infiltrated by the LTTE, Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch of being on the pay of the LTTE and the country's opposition party of working for the LTTE.

In the same outburst the Minister went on to rant "that in case Prabhakaran and his colleagues are to flee the country, Norway has arranged Eritrea to give asylum, safety and security to Prabhakaran and his men".

WHY BRITAIN DID NOT GIVE INDEPENCE TO THE THREE COUNTRIES THEY OCCUPIED IS A QUESTION NOW HAVE TO ASK BRITAIN AND SEEK ASSISTENCE TO RECORRECT THE MISTAKE THEY DID.

ANOTHER IMPORTANT QUESTION IS WHY SRI LANKAN GOVERNMENT TRYING TO ADMINISTER THE TAMIL OWN COUNTRY?.

TAMILS DID NOT GIVE AUTHORITY TO SRI LANKAN GOVERNMENT TO OCCUPY THEIR COUNTRY.BRITAIN GAVE IT TI SRI LANKA GOVERNMENT WITHOUT SEEKING ANY REFERENDUM.EVEN REFERENDUM IS NOT VALID SINCE IT WAS A INDEPENDENT COUNTRY OF TAMILS BEFORE THE ARRIVAL OF FOREIGN INVADERS TO THE ISLAND.

SRI LANKAN GOVERNMENT MUST HANDOVER THE NORTH TAMIL COUNTRY THROUGH A REFERENDUM ARRANGE BY UN,TO A ELECTED DEMOCRACY.
