Seven civilians surrendered themselves to the Jaffna HRC following death threats from Sri Lanka Army |

 After getting repeated death threats from the Sri Lankan military and paramilitary personnel. Three of them are children under the age of five. Ramalingam Pathmanathan age 32 from Meesalai north Kodikamam and his wife Amutharanjini and their three year old child Gentitha have sought refuge at the Jaffna Human Rights Commission Office after receiving continuous death threats from the Sri Lankan army and paramilitary personnel.
Meanwhile, a family of four from Iyatraalai, Thavalai in Kodikamam, has surrendered to the Jaffna Human Rights Commission. Kanthamoorthy Uthayakumar age 67and his wife Kantharubi age 42 and their children Abilash age 5, Paavalan age 4 southt refuge at the HRC office Jaffna. office The two families have sought refuge at the Jaffna HRC office after the Sri Lankan military personnel forcibly entered their houses and confiscated their identity cards.
