sn_tna_logothumb_miss_thangeswary_kathiramanK.Thangeswari , TNA Batticaloa Parliamentarian, has appealed to President Rajapakse to stop the moves to acquire 20,000 cattle in Senkaladi area belonging to the displaced people and transport them to Polanaruwa. She has appealed that the displaced people be resettled forth with and be permitted to look after their cattle.

She has condemned the proposal to acquire the cattle that were owned by the displaced people and to transport them to Pollanaruwa as a deliberate move by the government to deprive the displaced people of their livelihood. The cattle in that area are not stray cattle.
