Indian Opposition Party BJP to collect aid for Lankan Tamils |

BJP, Main Opposition Party, has launched a programme to collect essential food and medicines from Tamil Nadu people to be dispatched as aid items for Lankan Tamils. BJP states that due to the ongoing war in Sri Lanka, 500,000 innocent Tamil people are living without food, clothes and medicines. BJP is collecting aid to these innocent people, who are suffering from hunger and poor health.
BJP supporters are to collect aid visiting houses in TamilNadu, commencing from Tomorrow (5th Oct).
Tamil Nadu BJB leader El.Ganeshan has stated that aid will be collectd for the next 7 days and will be handed over to ICRC on 11th Oct to be dispatched to Sri Lanka.
