Sri Lanka: Five civilians including three children injured in SLAF bombing in Puthukudiyiruppu

Five civilians including three children were injured as jets belonging to Sri Lankan Air Force bombed on a civilian settlement in Puthukudiyiruppu in the Mullaitivu district around 2 p.m. on Tuesday. Of the injured, three belong to same family.

The aerial bombing left many houses damaged and two of them completely destroyed.

The names of injured persons are: R. Sukirtha, 8, K. Santhiravathanan, 6, Suresh, 27, his wife Vinothini, 25 and their daughter Meena, 3.

GoSL military spokesman told that they got information the family (children included) were LTTE members, therefore their Air Force bombed.
