The Sri Lankan intelligence officials who are conducting the investigations into the recent attack on Anuradhapura air base revealed that the LTTE fighters had visited Anurdhapura airbase and surrounding areas before they infiltrated into the airbase on Monday early morning.

They believe the Tigers did a rehearsal before launching the attack.

The cops said that they had interrogated 10 families living adjoining the air base to know whether they gave shelter to the Tigers.

Sources said it is still a mystery to the government soldiers that as to how the attackers manage to infiltrate amid so tight security.

They are also investigating whether the LTTE attackers infiltrated as civilians when the military event took place in the region where 100,000 observers took part as spectators.

Residents in Anuradhapura said that the armed forces are causing various kinds of problems in their daily lives by suspecting the locals without any reason and the Tamils are the worst sufferer although these Tamils are innocents.

The last paragraph carries much meaning and heartache from the residents of Anuradhapura.Harrasment in ones daily lives is not acceptable.Further more complete failure of security after harrasment daily is not forgivable nor can be excused.So where and how did this great daily harrased inquiries end.was it just a farce.
After every attack the GOSL puts out unbelievable twisted stories.The day this stops will be the beginning of reality in which direction Sri Lanka has to tread in finding peace.
The scenario is to tell lies and more lies and the singhala people mostly live in a fools paradise.
Take for instance the bombardment of vanni and killing innocent civilians after this attack.The reason could be two fold.
One -the GOSL was so mad having been reduced to a spectacle so they went out out and 'pounded' as all news reported.What good did this do to the GOSL and furthermore to the country and its people.Nothing.
Secondly - Its a way of showing the people,we still have war planes,we have personal and we can still destyroy.This is a farce and this if one were to scrutinize sounds rediculous and stupid.
Take for instance the verdict given by the GOSL after the LTTE attack that they have sent a sortie out to bomb the Black Tiger Base in Iranamadu and they have destroyed the base of the Black Tigers.
We do not now know whether any Black Tigers are left.!! But according to the news item by the GOSL they have destroyed the Black Tiger base.
It makes me wonder- OK -You have said it.If we were to believe this then there will be no more attacks from the Black Tigers.Is this news correct or are they lies.?
I have a question for the security Intelligence Service of Sri Lanka.
1.Why did'nt you find this base before the attack.
2.How did you find this now.
3.If you were able to find this after the attack in the same way could you not have done the job better finding it earlier.?
Don't please give me the crap that the supersonic jet flew behind the LTTE plane and this led them to the area and so we spotted the base.!!!!

The GOSL gave the same crap when Katunayake was attacked.Kehaliya beamed out -we sent immediately our supersonic jet.Thats all.Nothing heard as to what the supersonic jet did and or found or what time it left or from which air base the GOSL sent the jet.
I never knew we had a supersonic jet.can we afford to buy and maintain one.Is this necessay to fight an internal war.
Finally where did this land.In Siberia?

Wel,lWell well --same story after the Katunayake attack.There was a big event in the town and there was a mega show and the LTTE could have infilterated with the thousands of spectators blah blah blah.

Then the item said ofcourse -Kehaliya again - there was a path behind the airbase katunayake through the security barbed wire fence which security and airforce personal go to the village/town on off duty.
Good gracious.!!!!The GOSL is fighting a war.Where is the security?Does this mean any one and every one can walk on this path in and out of the high security area? was this an excuse for security lapses.
Come on Kehaliya.Someone should wring Kehaliya's neck and stop him from dishing out fables.

Where is the intelligence unit.what crap of intelligence research were they doing.

I now fear for these Anuradhapura civilians who have spoken the truth.Instead of sending the white and black vans sir pull your men up and ask for the TRUTH and give the TRUTH to the people.The way you are going you will not achieve anything.

Sir,do you think the LTTE had no place in VANNI to have their rehearsal?!!!!! First ask your supersonic jet to shoot down the CRAP and give out the truth.
Stop harrassing the innocent Tamils and killing them.Your singhala people in Anuradhapura in the sacred city themselves have said it that the tamils are innocent.
You should do a dance of fury like the one you did before over an internal issue when you were scared that there was going to be a coup.
