The total airspace over the island of Sri Lanka is not under the control of the Sri Lankan military, Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Chief Roshan Goonetileke told journalists on Friday. Even some of the airspace over Sinhala areas is vulnerable, according Goonetileke.
His comments came on the week the Tamileelam Air Force (TAF) bombed military installations in Anuradhapura, a Sinhala-Buddhist heartland where dancing around naked-mutilated corpses is a local custom. Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) have warned of continues air strikes against strategically important military and economic targets. Set as favorite Bookmark Comments (1)
