Sri Lanka: 2 civilians injured, SLAF attacks Puthukkudiyiruppu

Two civilians were wounded and several houses were destroyed when four Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Kfir jets dropped bomb at Koampaavil, a residential area in Puthukkudiyiruppu in Mullaiththeevu district on Monday morning.
Local people said the aerial attack was carried out between 10 a.m. and 10:40 a.m. in which destroyed two houses.
At least two inmates of the houses, Santhakumari Perinpanayagam, 43 and Yogarajah, 46, were injured in the attack. They have been admitted at Puthukkudiyiruppu hospital.
More than 3800 students, attending the schools in the area, were forced to take shelters in the bunkers for safety.
Four Kfir bombers have dropped at least 18 bombs in the area, Tamileelam Police officials in Puthukkuyiruppu told media.
