On the following day the WPPF delegation held discussion with the British high commissioner.
After his meetings with the diplomats, Ganesan said he narrated to them exactly what situation is prevailing in Sri Lanka now.
He told them that the prime task of Sri Lankan government is giving top priority to launching the war against Tamils in the North and East.
He also said during the stay of UN officials in charge of human rights, he drew their attention to the issue of gross violations of human rights by the government.
Ganesan added he would meet other foreign diplomats too in the days to come to brief them on the real situation of the country, particularly government’s repression on Tamil community.
