Sri Lanka: Minister warns of LTTE attack on Parliament

Indigenous Medicine Minister Tissa Karaliyadde yesterday warned of a possible LTTE attack on the parliamentary complex. Speaking during the emergency debate, Mr. Karaliyadde said Tigers used to strike their targetsat unexpected times and said therefore the authorities should be extra vigilant. He said there was also the likelihood of an explosive laden LTTE aircraft crashing into the parliamentary complex at this crucial hour.
