The news published in the independent web media in July 2007 about the controversial and secret meeting of the President of Sri Lanka and the Asian Tribune owner/editor Kanapathipillai Thambirajah Rajasingam based in Hallstvakik, Sweden is published below.

Since the meeting K T Rajasingam's authority to manipulate events in Sri Lanka has made Sri Lanka exposed to bad governance and its inability to respect international standards on dealing with diplomatic missions. On this occasion the British government has been hoodwinked for petty parochial gains of the government and the greedy Asian Tribune editor.

This single most incident must be seen as a lesson for the international community and they must bear upon the Sri Lanka government to follow acceptable standards in governance and respect for international protocols.

The Asian Tribune editor has a history of nefarious dealings starting from his engagement in a Co-operative society in Sri Lanka. He migrated from Sri Lanka to Thailand and from there he has moved to Sweden. His record on human trafficking, blackmailing and nefarious dealing have caused so much harm to many people for far too long.

He has reached the peak in his deceptive and devious career by now becoming party to an appalling and devious agreement with the government of President Mahinda Rajapakse.

Whilst the government of Sri Lanka is brought under greater international scrutiny, there is an urgent need for the Swedish authorities to investigate K T Rajasingam as his nefarious and criminal activities are causing serious harm to civil society.
