The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) parliamentarian P. Ariyanenthiran said Sri Lanka government must be held responsible if anything happen to 22 TNA parliamentarians. While speaking in the parliament referring to the recent speech of Basil Rajapaksa that if the TNA parliamentarians do not join the government, security will not be provided to them. Ariyanenthiran said through this statement it is crystal clear now that the Sri Lankan government killed two TNA parliamentarians in the past.

He said TNA would not support the government’s budget 2008 as it has been prepared with a motive to crush the Tamils with more allocation for defence sector of Sri Lanka.
