Thousands of patients are crowding into Jaffna Teaching Hospital and other private hospitals to seek medical advice and treatment following recent spreading of viral flu in the region. Sources said two patients have already died in the Jaffna hospital where doctors are admitting that it is a new viral flu to them.
Sources said there is no space in the wards of the teaching hospital and dozens of patients are waiting in the streets to get treatments.
The doctors said they are doing their best to provide treatments to the patients with the limited resources available in the hospitals in the peninsula.
