In response to the srilankan government’s ban on the Tamils rehabilitation organization, the TRO in its news release said to the world with the whole support of the Tamil Diaspora The TRO will continue to provide its humanitarian services to the affected people in the Tamils home land.

In its news release TRO said on Friday with the banning of the TRO the final nail in the coffin of the peace process has been hammered home, and said with the whole support of the Tamil Diaspora The TRO will continue to provide its humanitarian services to the affected people in the Tamils home land .

Today the pulse of the peace process has stopped and peace is a lifeless, dead body. It is a tragedy that the International Community, while ignoring the human rights abuses and violations of international humanitarian law by the GoSL, continues to dangle this “dead peace”, that the GoSL continues to show no interest in pursuing, before the Tamil people."

Operation USA, a Non Governmental Organization based in US, held a photo exhibition featuring tsunami relief activities carried out in the NorthEast of Sri Lanka by Tamil Rehabilitation Organization and other relief agencies. More than 300 photographs were on display at the exhibition which opened for public Thursday 7 p.m. at the Operation USA offices at Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles.

LTTE is the interim Governing body of the Homelands of the Tamils. If US can support Mushy Government, why our interim Government run by LTTE cannot be accepted? In this context, TRO has to cooperate with the interim government of LTTE.
