Sri Lanka: Building of the Voice of Tigers flattened –nine killed, ten injured

Nine civilians including five employees of the Voice of Tigers were killed and nine more were injured when the Voice of Tigers buildings on A9 Road, 3.5 Kilometers from Kilinochchi town, was bombed by Sri Lanka Air Force at 4.30pm, today, War Heroes’ Day in the Tamil homeland.

Employees were present at the Voice of Tigers office to broadcast the War Heroes’ commemorations. The Voice of Tigers buildings were flattened.

Two Kfir bombers dropped 12 bombs on the buildings. The building was situated on the A9 Road and civilians traveling on the road were also killed.

The injured victims and bodies of the dead are at the Kilinochchi district hospital. Also in the hospital are the thirteen bodies of the victims killed in the Sri Lanka military claymore attack this morning at Aiyankulam.
