COLOMBO (SNM) -- Sri Lanka has closed all schools in the Sinhala south for two days fearing retaliation for a Sri Lankan 'Special Forces' attack on a school bus carrying Tamil children in Vanni. Sri Lankan forces exploded a claymore mine targeting a school bus on Tuesday killing seven young girls. The girls' funeral is set to take place on Wednesday and Thursday. Sri Lankan officials said that the schools in the south were closed as a precautionary measure fearing reprisal attacks.
