Unidentified gunmen shot dead a family man in Jaffna on Thursday around 5: 20 p.m. Sources said victim Sinnathamby Thillainadarasa (56) was attacked when he was going to Jaffna town riding bike from his home. Thillainadarasa was a resident of 179/5 house on Brown Street.

The post mortem examination of the dead body was conducted in Jaffna hospital.

Police could not say anything about the killing of Thillainadarasa, but local people held Sri Lankan Army responsible for this killing as he was supporter of the LTTE.
