Sri Lanka: Two students feared abducted in Jaffna by SLA: Complaints lodged with HRC

Two students in Jaffna are reported missing in Jaffna for last two days. Parents of two students have lodged formal compliant with Human Rights Commission offices in Jaffna in connection with their missing. According to complaints the students are: Kantharuban, 17, from Puloly West, Point Pedro, and a GCE (O/L) student of Velaayutham Vidyalayam and Thiyagarajah Gopinath, 19, from Vaddukoddai SouthWest, student of Vaddukoddai Central College. Parents said the two students have disappeared in the last two days and they are fearing that they have been by the Intelligence wing of the Sri Lanka Army (SLA), sources said.
