There are speculations that that Minister of Tourism, Anura Bandaranayake, may stay away at the voting on the third reading of the budget on December 14. According to sources, Mr. Bandaranayake has told his close friends in political arena that he would attend parliamentary sessions in next March.
At the second reading of the budget held on last month, Mr. Anura Bandaranayake said that this budget has not offered any concessions to the people and he was voting in favour of the budget to show respect to his parents.
