Dear Prime Minister

The rumour was rife during last general elections, temple money belonging to Eelapatheeswarar temple was misappropriated towards Barry Gardener’s election expenses. The temple itself is managed by Mr R Jayadevan.

According to some reports Mr R Jayadevan himself was held in an area controlled by Tamil people. He is a Sri Lankan citizen holding a Sri Lankan passport. If a crime was committed in Sri Lanka , it is the duty of Sri Lankan authorities to try him in a court of Law.

Naturally the question is why Barry Gardener MP got the foreign office and British High commission involved to free him? Is it because of the illegal money spent on his election expenses? About three months ago Mr V Ramarajah who is a close associate of Mr Jayadevan was arrested in Switzerland for drug trafficking, money laundering, credit card fraud and human trafficking.

Again the question is why Mr Jayadevan and Barry Gardner MP involving British civil servants in the legal proceedings. Obviously we are all suspicious of the unholy alliance between Barry Gardener MP, Mr R Jeyadevan and Mr V Ramarajaha.

Incidentally the money collected at the above temple is neither accounted for no accounts were submitted.
