It has come to our attention that Vadivel Mahendran, currently attached to the Sri Lankan ENDLF in Chennai, India is being searched for by the Swiss police on a murder charge. Vadivel Mahendran is the elder brother of Vadivel Puvendran who was killed in Batticaloa yesterday. Mahendran also known as “Monster Maama� had issued a statement on the TBC paramilitary radio today.

In the statement Mahendran warned that he will kill all supporters of the Tamils’ freedom struggle. Anyone with information on Mahendran’s whereabouts is being urged to contact Swiss police on the telephone number 061 / 926'35'35.

A reward of 5 000 Swiss Francs has been offered by the Swiss police for information leading to the capture of “Monster Maama�. Swiss police have warned members of the public not to confront this individual as he may be armed and dangerous.
