A suspect has shot himself after four people were shot at a building in a Montreal college, Canadian police have said. One student at Dawson College told radio station 940 News that she saw two people who had been shot, including one who was hit in the neck.

The student said a friend told her four people had been shot. TV footage showed students fleeing the building, which is near Montreal city centre.
