Authorities in Pakistan have arrested 25 Indian fishermen and seized their boats for allegedly poaching in Pakistani territorial waters in the Arabian sea, officials said on Sunday.
"We detained 25 Indian fishermen and seized their four boats on Saturday night for violating our maritime zone," Maritime Security Agency spokesman Lieutenant Commander Ateequr Rehman said.
The fishermen have been handed over to police, he added.
The latest arrests brought the number of Indian fishermen detained in Pakistan this year to 260, Rehman said.
