There has been a string of suicide car bomb attacks in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk. Police say at least 20 people have been killed and more than 20 others injured.
It is believed one blast targeted the city's police headquarters wounding a senior official in the criminal squad. At least two other explosions are thought to have struck the offices of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, the political party of Iraq's President Jalal Talabani. A fourth suicide car bomb killed three people and wounded six others.
